Many DAM swimmers have approached me through the years complaining of back pain.  I for one had back problems for over 20 years and tried just about everything; yoga, acupuncture, and every kind of physical therapy imaginable.  I finally figured out what works best for me when I realized what was causing the problem. I was doing nothing to strengthen my meager weak lower abs! So I got serious 15 months ago and joined an abs class at the Legacy Sport & Wellness Center. In 4 months there I was with all these on strike  Dallas Stars hockey players kicking butt. Sounds like an Infomart commercial? Yes, but  it works!
