Swim Basics Classes

Swim Basics classes have been discontinued effective December 1, 2012. Swim Basic classes are specifically designed for those who can comfortably swim the length of a pool (25 yards), but want to improve their level of swimming to include better breathing and freestyle stroke technique. Classes are held monthly and space is limited to 12 students. 

Skill level will be evaluated on the first day, and attendees will be divided into the two groups - Freestyle and Intermediate.

Freestyle - for those who can swim one length of the pool (25 yards) freestyle without stopping. Can breath with their face in the water swimming freestyle, but need help with breathing and stroke technique.

Intermediate - for those who can swim two laps of the pool (100 yards) freestyle without stopping. Want to improve their freestyle stroke mechanics, learn new training techniques and build endurance. 
 
Make-Up Policy: No Make-up sessions offered unless DAM cancels the session.

 

Cancellation Policy: We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. No refunds within 72 hours of class start date due to the very small class size. We are unable to offer makeup classes so please make every effort to attend all classes.

 

Classes are held at the Verandah Club in Dallas (near the Anatole Hotel) - Monday & Wednesday evenings, 7pm-8pm.
