Club Sponsored Social Events
Team socials are broadcast by email regularly and announced at the swim practices. Such events may include red-eye breakfasts, post-meet social outings, and the occasional get together following a practice. These events are fun and provide opportunities to meet team members outside of the swimming arena.
Organized Trips to Swim Events
Each year, Dallas Aquatic Masters participates in a variety of out-of-town swimming meets and events. Generally, plans are made in advance to accommodate group rates on lodging. Such trips may include travel to various open water races, annual or semi-annual team travel to the Master’s Nationals Championships, and even some international team travel to meets.
Special Swim Clinics
Stroke clinics will generally be offered in the winter months to provide opportunities for specific stroke improvement.
Sponsor Competitive Masters Swimming Meets
Each year, Dallas Aquatic Masters hosts two swimming meets that are open to any registered USMS swimmer. The two meets we host regularly are:
Spring Short Course Yards meet held in March
Fall Short Course Meters meet held in November
